Information regarding bankruptcy is available to all who need it. There is a certain segment of our society that doesn’t need it. I have a pet peeve. It is the amount of money doctors make in this country. There are no doctors, I am willing to bet, in this country, who are filing for bankruptcy. And if there are then they certainly are an anomaly. They get paid way more for their services then so many other just as educated and hard working people that you have to ask why they enjoy such high status and excessive pay in this country. Why do not women, who have labored and raised children, or nurses, or teachers, who teach our children, or laborers who build and repair our structures, or farm workers who grow and pick our food make the same wages as doctors? Why are they so exalted in our society? Do you think it has to do with the paternal nature of our culture? The male, let me take care of you, I can look after you better than you can care for yourself, you cannot take care of yourself cultural imperative that compels us to exalt doctors to higher status, station and benefit than the rest of us? What if we lived in a society where all people were honored?
